Bonaire's sea abounds with beautiful marine life and a fascinating variety of multi-colored tropical fish. The sea is remarkably calm and conditions are superb for both scuba diving and snorkeling. On average, Bonaire's visibility exceeds 100 feet and average water temperature is 80 degrees F. The fringing reef begins close to the shore, usually a short 30 foot swim or less, making Bonaire world renowned for its ease of shore diving. Bonaire's waters offer something special, everyone will appreciate the calm waters, reefs that run parallel to shore, and minimal currents. These conditions make it our trip an ideal location for divers of all levels to enjoy. And the abundance of marine life living along the shallow drop-off area of the reef slope allows for maximum bottom time, while giving new divers an opportunity to develop a level of comfort and confidence in their newly learned skills.

Every day we’ll explore the many spectacular dive sites including the Salt Pier or Town Pier, which have become a mecca for photographers, as well as the nearby island of Klein Bonaire, a short 10 minute boat ride away. Day, night, it doesn’t matter, you will enjoy the freedom of our unlimited shore diving package, making as many dives as you want each day, anytime you want. There are plenty of tanks available, convenient benches for gear set-up and two sturdy ladders that provide easy access to the water. Rinse tanks and an extensive gear storage room, all simply add up to make diving with us easy and enjoyable.

Buddy Dive is our resort home where you can DIVE DIVE DIVE, take part in a multitude of activities or just sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Known for its casual atmosphere, personable staff, spacious accommodations and a dive operation that has it all: comfortable boats, complete dive center, and a unique "Drive Thru" with a two-lane air/nitrox fill station. The popular house reef is just a giant stride away, which is perfect for diving and snorkeling, day and night. Buddy dive is situated on the leeward side of the island so waves & current are very rarely a concern.
